Shelley deSilva
Vice President, Marketing
Shelley deSilva was named Vice President, Marketing at The HON Company in January 2009. In her role, she is responsible for building and leading a strong team dedicated to enhancing capabilities and building The HON Company brand through market research, brand communications, public relations, events, showrooms and channel marketing. Prior to this position, deSilva served as vice president, field sales where she was responsible for shaping the strategies for the independent dealer channel, field sales organization and sales development and training departments.
deSilva joined The HON Company in 1992 and has held a number of positions, including Territory Manager, West Central Region Sales Director, Sales Operations Manager and National Account Manager.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from The University of Iowa. deSilva also participated in the Women’s Leadership Forum at The University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
