HON Brings Learning Without Limits to Life at EDspaces 2026
Featuring new Scribble, Mosaic, Brim, and Build solutions, HON showcases how thoughtful design supports choice, movement, and well-being throughout educational environments.
Kansas City, MO. October 28, 2026— The HON Company, a leader in workplace and education furnishings, will showcase its Learning Without Limits education campaign at EDspaces 2026, October 28–30, at Booth #1503 in Kansas City, Missouri. Through interactive experiences and new product introductions, HON will demonstrate how thoughtfully designed environments can adapt to the diverse needs of students, educators, and administrators, empowering them to learn, teach, and thrive.
Built on the belief that education environments should adapt to the people within them, rather than the other way around, Learning Without Limits explores how furniture and spatial design can support autonomy, movement, and well-being throughout the school day. Attendees will discover how HON brings this philosophy to life through flexible classrooms, collaborative gathering spaces, and purposeful solutions for the broader educational campus.
“Learning looks different for every student, educator, and school, and the spaces we create need to reflect that,” said Misael Munoz, Director of Sales, Public Sector, HON. “At HON, we believe thoughtful design can create more opportunities for students to engage, teachers to adapt, and school communities to thrive. This year's EDspaces experience demonstrates how we're translating that belief into practical solutions that support the evolving needs of education.”
Experiencing Learning Without Limits
HON's EDspaces booth will bring the campaign to life through three interconnected principles, each highlighting how purposeful design contributes to a more supportive education experience.
- Choose With Confidence explores how varied seating, adaptable furnishings, and thoughtfully designed spaces give students greater choice in how they learn, while empowering educators and administrators to make decisions that support their unique needs.
- Move With Purpose demonstrates how flexible layouts and mobile solutions allow environments to transition between independent focus, group collaboration, and hands-on activities, helping educators adapt spaces as instructional needs change.
- Thrive With Possibility highlights how inclusive, supportive environments can encourage connection, belonging, and well-being throughout the school day, creating spaces where students and staff feel comfortable and supported.
Together, these principles guide HON's approach to creating education environments that respond to the evolving needs of students and educators. At EDspaces, HON will demonstrate how this philosophy translates into thoughtfully designed products and applications, including several new introductions to its education portfolio.
New Solutions Designed for the Way Students Learn
Attendees will have the opportunity to experience Scribble™, HON's newest student seating solution designed with movement, comfort, and sensory needs in mind. Its defining feature, an integrated sensory scribble texture beneath the seat, provides students with a subtle, tactile outlet for quiet fidgeting and self-regulation without drawing attention or distracting others. A contoured seat and flexible back accommodate natural posture shifts, while durable construction and multiple base options support the demands of dynamic K–12 environments. An interactive display will invite attendees to experience Scribble's unique sensory design firsthand.
Beyond Scribble, HON will showcase additional solutions designed to support learning across the entire educational campus:
- Mosaic™ Modular Lounge: Attendees will get a preview of HON's upcoming modular seating collection, featuring multiple configurations, back heights, and upholstery options that help create inviting environments for focused work, informal collaboration, and connection. From libraries and learning commons to student lounges, Mosaic supports different ways of gathering and learning.
- Build™ Enhancements: Upcoming enhancements include six new student desk shapes that expand classroom planning possibilities, making it easier to transition between individual learning and group collaboration. MaxProtect Edge adds durability to Build desks and tables, helping schools meet the everyday demands of active classrooms.
- Brim™ Seating: HON's recently launched, sculpted bucket-style chair combines comfort, versatility, and thoughtful design. With multiple base and finish options, Brim brings a cohesive aesthetic to collaborative areas, lounges, and administrative spaces throughout the campus.
Together, these solutions reflect HON's commitment to creating adaptable, durable, and engaging educational environments that support the people who use them every day.
