Since 2018, HNI has cut direct greenhouse gas emissions by 78% — more than double its original 35% goal — and sourced 100% renewable electricity across global operations in 2025.

Energy

Reducing energy use takes sustained effort. HNI has cut absolute energy consumption by 27% since 2018 and is working toward a 50% energy intensity reduction by 2035.

Waste

Fourteen HNI facilities have achieved zero waste to landfill, three of which are TRUE Zero Waste certified, with a companywide goal by 2030.
