At Whitney, a 37-year-old commercial interiors architectural and design studio based in Chicago, our goal is to explore the experience of work to allow for a more meaningful workplace design. We welcome diverse perspectives and unconventional points of view. Every interaction with our clients is an opportunity to learn something new – what they care about, who they are and what they aspire to be. 

We strive to evolve with the changing world around us.  As work has changed, so must our planning strategies.  Providing an adaptive workplace for hybrid-work can be an effective way to manage the macro and micro needs of the office. Neighborhood planning provides both departmental solutions and zoning solutions for varying levels of privacy.  Providing variation in work posture within each neighborhood not only breaks up the regimented work landscape but affords for the individualized needs of the work group at large.  In partnership, HON & Whitney have expressed a variety of hybrid-workplace solutions within the virtual showroom.  Each neighborhood is empowered by a curated selection of furniture that provides varied and unique solutions for the evolving workplace.
