THE HON COMPANY CELEBRATES 30 YEARS OF THE TEAM UP WITH HON DEALER LOYALTY TRIP

(MUSCATINE, IOWA – JUNE 10, 2013) — Office furniture manufacturer The HON Company recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of its successful Team Up dealer loyalty trip in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

HON invited 100 top office furniture dealers on the once-in-a-lifetime trip to Monte Carlo to celebrate their sales successes, and also to reinforce the importance of their long-term relationship with HON.

“Monte Carlo was a fitting destination to celebrate the success and achievements of our top-performing dealer partners and the incredible history of HON’s incentive program,” said Stacy DeLong, director of loyalty at HON. “Our company is committed to strong relationships, and this trip is a testament to how much we value our dealer partners.”

Longest standing loyalty trip

The annual Team Up with HON trip is a cornerstone component of HON’s dealer initiatives. Office furniture dealers can earn the trip by reaching yearly sales goals. Team Up is the longest standing loyalty trip in the office furniture industry and past trips have included Hawaii, Hong Kong and many destinations around the world.

Team Up with HON trips provide a unique opportunity for dealer-to-dealer and dealer-to-manufacturer networking and business sessions to help dealers grow their businesses and increase their expertise about HON products and services. In Monte Carlo, dealers spent valuable one-on-one time with HON leadership discussing key issues related to their business and the success and growth of their relationship with HON.

Participants also explore the sights, sounds and tastes of the destination city. During the Monte Carlo trip, dealers enjoyed a city tour; black tie gala event; daytrips to nearby Cannes, Nice and Antibes; cooking demonstrations; and other exclusive activities.

Dealer Sales Representative loyalty trip

In addition to the Team Up with HON dealer trip, HON also hosts an annual loyalty trip for top dealer sales representatives enrolled in the HON HONORS Program — which is earned by selling HON products and participating in online learning opportunities. The HON HONORS trip will take place later this year in New York City.
