Muscatine, IA. October 28, 2025— The HON Company, a leader in workplace and education solutions, is bringing its innovative "Color in Motion" Theory to the forefront at EDspaces 2025 in Columbus, OH, November 5-7, 2025. At Booth #1137, HON will demonstrate how the strategic use of color, combined with flexible furniture, can create more effective, engaging, and inclusive learning environments.
"Color in Motion" is the brand's research-driven approach to transforming color from a decorative element into a functional tool that enhances academic outcomes, supports diverse learning styles, and empowers school identity. The booth will guide visitors through zones that explore how color and furnishings can energize, focus, and inspire students and educators alike. Attendees visiting the booth will experience a portfolio of solutions designed for the evolving K-12 landscape, including versatile and mobile Field Trip™ tables and Class-ifi™ storage, textural Etch and colorful SmartLink® seating, and playful Flock® seating & Confetti™ cushions.
“We’re excited to connect with the education leaders and designers shaping the future of learning at this year’s EDspaces,” said Misael Muñoz, Director of Sales, HON Education. “This event gives us the perfect stage to bring our ‘Color in Motion’ story to life and highlight how thoughtful design and purposeful color can inspire better learning experiences, greater connection, and more adaptable spaces for today’s educators and students.”
HON products can also be seen in action as part of EDsessions classroom B230. Outfitted by the brand’s quickship program, HON NOW, the classroom will be transformed into a vibrant learning environment representative of HON and EDspaces’ collective innovation and dedication to fostering supportive education settings. Attendees will sit in SmartLink chairs, while an additional SmartLink Teacher Station and Mobile Storage with Cabinets will offer a mobile podium and practical storage stations. Build tables and a signature HON Ignition 2.0 chair will round out the space, enabling participants to experience a vision for the classroom of the future firsthand.
Beyond the booth and classroom, HON will contribute to the show’s educational programming with the EDsession Measuring Environmental Design Impacts in Innovative Team-Based Staffing Models. The session features Madeleine Tigges, Senior Product Marketing Manager at HON, along with a panel of experts, and takes place on Thursday, November 6, from 4:00–5:00 PM in EDspaces Classroom A120. HON will also host several engaging activations throughout the show, including an interactive color-inspired token drop at its booth and a Wednesday happy hour for attendees.
