I am a reality TV junkie.
For those of you who know me…I realize that may be shocking. But even more amazing is that some of the well known reality shows could be used as a platform to promote HON.
If I were to rewrite some of the most popular reality shows with a focus on The HON Company, this is what you might see:
Lately it seems as though we have all been living out of boxes here at HON Headquarters. But have no fear, it's for good reason! A good portion of our beautifully designed building is being transitioned over to new furniture. My workstation is being switched from Initiate® to Voi® and Abound® as we speak!
Once upon a time choosing a chair was easy … even a small golden-locked girl could do it (albeit while causing general chaos and incurring the anger of 3 giant furry mammals). For my first blog post I'm going to give you a little glimpse into my daily routine. I am a member of the Integrated Design Solutions team where we plan and specify HON furniture for our dealers. This is what a typical project might look like.
Basic office needs often start with desks and chairs, but there are other ways to improve your office space right away without having to go through a total renovation. Desks, chairs, and workstations require much more thought and investment and deserve their own blog post for a later time.
Instead, I’ll focus on some lesser thought of but equally important spaces when it comes to increasing productivity, improving overall image, and enhancing retention and recruitment of employees.

In the spirit of fast-approaching Earth Day, I thought I'd share some fun, creative ways to bring just a touch of green to the office. A favorite HON fun fact of mine: we collect our scrap fabric and turn it over to a company that shreds it for use in "shoddy"- a material used as a trunk liner in the auto industry! Little known fact.
