Did you ever think an office chair would be on someone’s holiday wish list?
In the past, it would’ve seemed odd, but...2020. And, it beats another set of pots and pans. Or Christmas socks.
Our kitchen tables have become workstations, our living room couches have doubled as brainstorm areas, and unused nooks have turned into places where maybe a desk could fit.
This season, consider a gift for you or someone else that helps fill a need. Supportive, comfortable seating is not just a luxury for better work—it’s a requirement.
Home is where the heart is, right?
Sure. But home is also where comfort resides. And in the last several months, that’s never been a truer sentiment, especially since many of us have been working from our living rooms, patios, and kitchens.
As many of us gradually return to the office with guidelines in place, we hope this information serves as a look toward the future. Our team at HON is here to support you through the transitions and help you look forward to productive collaboration in all forms.
The last three months have taught us a lot.

The HON Company was born and raised in Muscatine, Iowa - The Pearl of the Mississippi. Muscatine is the place where ideas flourish, innovation runs rampant, and developing and manufacturing office furniture is in the blood. We are inspired daily by practicality, quality, and service to our customers. That’s why we are proud of our products that are made, designed, engineered, and assembled right here in the USA.
Does your office have a pack rat? The desk that is always cluttered with piles of paperwork strewn about, never able to find what they are looking for? Tackle the mess with these helpful tips to help declutter and clean up your workspace to get back on track:

Bypass the winter blues (and greys) with these seven tips to spice up your workspace!
January: a time for the post-holiday blues, scraping icy windshields, and of course, New Years’ resolutions. Resolutions aren’t your thing? As an alternative to the singularly focused resolution, let’s try an overhaul in 2019! Here’s five areas where you can revitalize and remake yourself this year:
As the holidays approach and we welcome a time of celebration, ensure that everything is covered prior to closing time. To do this, plan ahead so that you don’t fall behind in the interim. Check out our three tips below on how to get ahead of that work:
Tip 1: Create a To Do List
I grew up around The HON Company. I have two uncles who work for HNI, my mother works in Customer Support, and my grandmother retired from Allsteel, our sister company, after 21 years. If you would have told me 5 years ago I would have followed in their footsteps and joined the world of office furniture, I would have laughed. I graduated from St. Ambrose University with a Sport Management degree, with a dream of working in the field of professional sports, set in a big city for an iconic team like the New York Yankees.
