When I joined the HON Marketing team last year, I was completely new to the office furniture world. It didn’t take me long to realize that, the moment you enter this industry, there are certain aspects of your everyday life that are forever changed:
1. Vacations
With a little help from our HON favorites, learn how your favorite color can say a lot about you. (I personally find it hard not to stick with HON Ready green…)
Green: Refreshing, hope, rejuvenation, healing.

Black: Elegance, mystery, power.
Welcome and Reception:
Welcome and reception areas are the first spaces someone sees when they enter a building; especially, for the first time. That’s why it’s important to use furniture in these spaces that is inviting and leaves a positive impression. Try to incorporate soft seating that draws people in to the space. Don’t forget the impact that lighting can play in making a space inviting. It is also nice to consider some sort of service area to make people feel welcome.
Lighting has become a very important part of the workplace, as it influences productivity and employee satisfaction. It is even being considered an important ergonomic feature in office design.
Trade shows can be overwhelming to some, but the key to a successful day lies within the following tips and tricks to ensure the greatest return on the investment.
1. Plan, Prepare, & Execute

Recently, the HON product team asked me to test out a new Height Adjustable Table (HAT). It can adjust to any height from 23 1/2”-51 ½” (including my worksurface) and allows me the flexibility I need for maximum productivity.
