When I was thinking about writing this blog post, I wanted to talk about something that relates to my position here at HON. I work in the Integrated Design Solutions team and we work on specifying furniture and creating layouts for our dealers. With that being said, I wanted to hit on the top office design trends we are seeing on a day to day basis and how HON is a key player.
The working world as we know it would cease to exist without the use of these 3 x 3 yellow squares of magic. I know I’m not alone when I say that my desk and computer monitor are oftentimes completely covered in cheery little Post-it reminders (more often than not to-do’s that I am dreading or putting off until 4 p.m. on a Friday afternoon!) However, Post-its can and do have a life outside of the office — below are some of its more creative uses.

When I first moved to Iowa, I was surprised to see how much this region was influenced by manufacturing. The entire manufacturing process is something that has always intrigued me. I think it is fascinating how raw materials can quickly become items we use every day. Working at HON, I have the unique opportunity to experience this phenomenon of manufacturing literally just across the street.
